U10-U14 AREA 1R TOURNAMENT:
CONGRATULATIONS and Thank you to all the teams that participated in the Area 1R U10-U14 Championship Tournament. For those teams advancing to Section Play the dates are February 23rd and February 24th at the Ab brown Sports Complex in Riverside. As information becomes available, we will forward it to your Regional Commissioners, so please keep in touch with them.

A new training initiative called the AYSO RoadShow will debut in 2010. The RoadShow events will bring coach, ref and management core training to AYSO communities across the U.S.

AYSO has a unique national structure. Its almost 1,000 Regions (community leagues) have two more local levels of the organization that help ensure Regions can deliver programs of a consistent high quality nationwide. The Areas and Sections work together on training, competitions and events to help Regions deliver an excellent soccer experience. They oversee compliance with AYSO fundamentals and focus on helping Regions grow so they can offer the AYSO experience to every child possible

Area 1-R is made up of eight (8) Regions of the American Youth Soccer Organization throghout Riverside County; Corona/Norco: Region 37, Riverside: Region 47, Moreno Valley: Region 187, Jurupa: Region 462, Perris: Region 544, Menifee; Region 820, Murrieta/Temecula: Region 1463, French Valley/Temecula: Region 1508
Nearly 16,000 players ages 4 1/2 through 18 participate in our programs, which are staffed and run entirely by volunteer coaches, referees and administrators.
